Topic:    The Power to create wealth

When we are talking about wealth, we are talking about the abundance of a valuable product. Wealth is the abundance of a desirable valuable product. God has given us the power to get wealth according to our text. There may be challenges but the word of God tells us in Psalm 66:12 “Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place”.

For anyone to experience the beauty of the power to create wealth:

1.            Be a wise Investor: If you want your health to be wealthy, invest in your health; If you want to be good in your academics to be good, invest in your studies; invest in relationships, invest in business. What is investment? Putting in valuable resources into something, with the view of getting returns. Matt. 13:3-9 tells us of the parable of the Sower, how he sowed and the effect of the seeds he had sown. You will realize that it was 25% of his seed that brought fruit. You may sow here and there, putting effort into something; as long as you don’t give up, you will reap in due season. Proverb 21:5 “The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.”

2.            Have Effective Branding: What is it in you, that makes people celebrate you. There should be something in you that will cause people to place value on you. There should be something in you that should make people see you as a solution to their problems. 1 Peter 2:9 “But Ye are a chose generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”. What makes you chosen is that there is something unique about your brand; something unique about how you do the things you do. You should be peculiar and unique about the way you do things. Deut. 14:1-2 “Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. 2. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chose thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth”. Effective Branding is what you do, that makes you peculiar in what you are doing. For wealth to be created, you must be a brand in whatever you are doing.

3.            Active Advertisement: InLuke 8:38-40, the mad man, after he was healed began to advertise what Jesus had done and people gladly received Jesus. People will receive you, when they hear good news about you. Interestingly, the internet is there to spread good news and bad news. Matt. 5:16 “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven”.

CONCLUSION:

As a child of God, we are advantaged. Hence, let’s cease the opportunities that has been made available to us in this generation. God has assured us of his glory and it will definitely be our reality I Jesus name. Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine, for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee”.
