DEUTERONOMY 7:6-8 (KJV)

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

INTRODUCTION

When you look at God’s word, you’ll find out that God at one point or the other has chosen men, some for specific assignments. When He was going to destroy the world, He found a man named Noah (Genesis 6:13-18) and instructed Him to build an ark and with the Ark, He saved some people and some animals. God could have wiped out everybody and started creation again but He decided to partner with men and He partnered with Noah.

In Genesis 12:1-7, He partnered with another man called Abram and God had to change his name to Abraham to fit his purpose and his wife to Sarah. God continued choosing people in Genesis 17:2-19, He made a Covenant with Abraham, and in Exodus, He called Israel His firstborn and it continued like that. God chose Jeremiah when he was still in the womb, Jeremiah 1:4-5, He did not just choose him but also ordained him.

By divine preference, God has decided to choose you, that’s why in Romans 9:22-23, some people were chosen for destruction but we are chosen for His Glory! Because He loves us. God has chosen you to be a peculiar treasure to Him, to manifest His Glory, to showcase what He can do, and to show the world a pattern (1 Peter 2:9).

God picked you out of darkness to make you a unique person, to make you a peculiar person, to make you a treasured person and you should cherish and value it. You should always remember that it wasn’t because you worked so hard for it but it’s just by divine choice (Psalm 115:3), You are a divine choice!

When you are chosen no matter what happens, you live! not because of your power but because Jesus lives.

When you are chosen, ugly, difficult, and evil situations will all work out for your success. Romans 8:28. Because you’re ordained for His Glory, you might be passing through a difficult situation now but in the end, it’s going to work out for your good, you might be going through a rough road now but it’s building your stamina for the glory you’re going to carry (if you don’t develop the stamina to carry the glory that God is releasing upon you when the glory comes upon you it will weigh you down and it can even destroy you).

So, whatever you’re passing through now will work out for your glory! There is a Glory ahead! Joseph went through the pit, into slavery, into prison but all these were processes he needed to go through to take him to get to where God was taking him, and in the end, it all worked out for his good. His brothers meant it for evil but God turned it around because he was ordained for glory! Whatever you’re going through now is not going to destroy you rather it will work out for your good.

Because you are ordained for His Glory, you are ordained for success when you take a step even though you don’t know the direction, that step will take you to your divine destination (Romans 3:5), God directs your path and you’ll arrive at your destination!

Because you’re ordained for glory, you’ve been programmed for victory, not defeat. Psalm 91:7-12

Don’t joke with the word of God because that is where the image of the Glory is, when you constantly behold, you become! As you continue to focus on the word and meditate day and night, you will surely have success, Joshua 1:8. When you don’t stay with the word, you cannot become what God wants you to become. God’s power is in His word! Psalm 107:20, 2 Peter 1:3-4, the word contains all we need.

Don’t compromise, don’t look back, and don’t complain, no matter what you’re going through give thanks because, in the end, it will work out for your good. Jeremiah 29:11, no matter what happens God has an expected end for you and that end is Glory.

God has a future for you and the only way you can access and actualize it is through Jesus because it is revealed in Christ Jesus. It’s not about going to church but about having a relationship with Christ! The beauty of Christianity is that we have a relationship with God, and we call God our Father (there is a bonding, we can open up to Him and He is willing to help, Isaiah 1:18). Most of us are in church but we are not committed to the one that owns the church. Whatever you have in the world cannot be compared to Eternal Glory, it cannot be compared to the Glory of the Father. Hebrews 12:2-3, Matthew 28:11
