Topic: Addicted to Jesus

Text: 1 Peter 5:7

There is nothing you are going through that God is not aware of and interested in. As a matter of fact, that is exactly why Jesus came on earth. Many times we are totally ignorant of the purpose why we live and why God got us saved. One of the things we must understand is that we are special people in the sight of God. Being a covenant is the greatest honour of all.

1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

You are not an accident. You are a special person no matter what you have gone through or going through. The redemption of your soul from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His marvelous Light is the greatest thing God has done for you.

Matt. 26:28
“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

Only the blood of the Lamb of God can redeem you from sin.

Sin is the foundation of all sickness, disease, curse, affliction, slavery etc. This sin is the yoke Jesus purchased us from by His blood.

Heb. 9:22
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission”

Without the blood there would be no recovery, no release, no deliverance. We got our remission of sins by the blood of Jesu that speaks better things. Because Jesus suffered to get this freedom for us, we must be serious in our relationship with Him.

Prov. 16: 20
“It pays to take life seriously things work out when you trust in God.”

It pays to be serious about the things of God. When you are serious about the things of God, you would honour Jesus in your relationships, business and life.

Note This:

1. You are special in the sight of God
2. Because you are special in the sight of God, Jesus paid the price for your redemption.
3. You must be serious about the things of the kingdom because Jesus suffered for you.
4. Seek God with a deep hunger in your spirit and you would find Him.

Those that seek God never lose sight of their destination.

Never fail in your pursuit of God.

Hunger of God makes you crazy for the word of God.

We are all created and formed by words.

Reading the bible leads you to your destination.

Hunger for the word of God, therein is your silver and gold.

When the ways of a man please the Lord, even his enemies would be at peace with you. They would become your stepping stone. They would advertise you because God loves you. If God be for us who can be against us.

In conclusion, Hunger for God, He is true to His word. He would give you the ends of the earth for your possession. Kingdom addiction would always command dominion.
