There is a new hope in Jesus Christ. For us as Christians, our hope is a confident expectation of what God has promised, and why are we hopeful? We are hopeful because we are standing on the faithfulness of God. In Number 23:19 (KJV) “God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent. Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Hath he spoken and shall he not do it?”

Every time the word of God is spoken about, we need to realize that the integrity of God is at stake. That there is a new hope in Christ Jesus, it is not a political statement, it is a statement of a divine promise; divinity is at stake when we make that statement. God has put his authority and everything about him behind his word, so when we speak his word, everything that concerns God are under an instruction to bring to pass what God has spoken.

We were condemned to death until Jesus showed up. That condemnation and destruction that was our lot was changed because of Jesus came and he went to the cross. Isaiah 41:10-13 “For” We are talking about a person that has said he will help you. So if God had said he will help you, why are you worried? He has given you a check that you can cash out any day of the week. The bible has made it clear that none of us can add anything to our lives by worrying ourselves. You want to help God carry his problem..

The song writer said: God is bigger that all my problems. It’s not just a song, it is the reality of the testimony of Jesus.

How Does Jesus Give Us A New Hope?

1.            Matt. 11:28-30 ‘’Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” There is an open invitation to has many that will come to him. There is a new hope, it doesn’t matter your past, it doesn’t matter how you have been flogged, discouraged, it doesn’t matter how your life has been battered.

2.            The second way is when Jesus comes into a situation. He gives a new hope to any hopeless situation. An encounter with Jesus is a root to a new hope. Luke 5:1-11 if  you were to describe the summary of Peter’s case that was the summary of fruitless hard labour. Peter struggled from morning to night without productivity but when Jesus appeared, he gave him a new hope; a man that was looking for a way to go and wash his dirty net was now looking for how to mend his net. Mark 10:46-552 Blind Bathemos encountered Jesus and receive a new hope. Jesus took away the darkness and he encountered light. Whatever darkness that has beclouded your life, as you hold on to Jesus, receive light in Jesus name. Other examples are the wedding at Cana and the woman with the issue of blood, but Jesus came into her situation and gave her a new hope and fragrance.

3.            When A situation is approached in the name of the Lord Jesus. In 1 kings 4:1, the wife of the late prophet who has left her in debt, she said Elisha, my husband worked for the God and he left us in debt. And Elisha told her to get vessels, she eventually had surplus at the end of the day

When Jesus says he is given you a new hope, he is not trying to sweet-talk you, he means what he is saying. Jesus is not a politician, his integrity is at stake.

How Does Jesus Express This New Hope?

John 1:12 – “As many that receives him, to them he gave power to be sons of God, even unto them that believe on his name”

Luke 10:19 – “Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

2 Cor. 5:17 – “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, behold old things are past away, and all things are become new”

When a New regime replaces an old regime, there is a new hope. When the regime of Satan in your life is replaced with the regime of Jesus dominance there will be a new hope.
