Genesis 8: 22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (KJV)

INTRODUCTION
As long as the earth remaineth, the first thing I show you there is the seedtime and harvest that is to say that every seeding has a time, the harvest has no time.

People who don’t read the bible will say seedtime and harvest time (very wrong!). The bible says, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease (KJV), these are the seasons of life.

LET’S DO SOME CALCULATIONS;
We have four grouped seasons:

1. Seedtime and Harvest
2. Cold and Heat
3. Summer and Winter
4. Day and Night

From the above, you may likely say that there are 2 seasons in each group, but actually there are 3 seasons in each group.

Take note of these;

Using seedtime and harvest as a case study; the “seedtime” is one season, the “AND” is another season and the

“harvest” is another season.

You will discover that there is no season that is complete without AND!

No man goes to the farm and plant today and goes tomorrow to harvest, he has to enter the AND season.

WHAT IS THE AND SEASON?

The AND season is your waiting season, when the seed is planted in a woman, she enters into her AND season of pregnancy that lasts for nine months.

Someone is crying today because you are looking at a man who is in his harvest season but you are enslaved in your AND season and you are saying God forgot you NO! you are still incubating, for unless a seed dies, it cannot germinate.

I give answers to somebody who has been asking God why? For how long will it take? Can I tell you today, that the

AND season for corn or maize can never be the same AND season for orange.

Your AND season will qualify your harvest, some AND season are long, some are short, depending on what you are expecting.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN THE AND SEASON?

When you are in confusion, when you don’t know whether your seed is germinating or not, when you are only living

on hope, that is your AND season.

The AND season is a time of hope, a time of hunger, a time when it looks like God does not answer prayers, it is a time when it looks like all your fasting and prayers made the situation more complicated. You are asking what is

wrong? Nothing is wrong, a seed is about to germinate. Just hang on because your AND season must surely give way to harvest.

The AND season is a time when God decides to abandon your labor and execute his own plan, it’s a time when God does not consult you on the things He wants to do, you will only wait and see, cry till morning you cannot change God’s timing, he has his plan that’s why you have to hope and wait.

Celebrate those in there harvest and wait for your own, don’t be envious, rejoice with them. You might be at the point of quitting because you feel you have giving so much, Hold on! The AND season is the warm time, it is neither cold or hot, it is a transition into the harvest, don’t die on your AND season because harvest must surely come.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR AND SEASON?

1.   Go to God in prayer for strength and direction

Don’t ask God why? Rather tell Him to give you the strength to pass through the season, for weeping

endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

God didn’t bring you out to die in the wilderness, He brings you out to train and prepare you for the promise land.

2.   Stop panicking and murmuring:

Refuse to complain, keep your eyes in the harvest and don’t remove your eyes from it.

Allow God to do what He wants to do, stop advertising your problem, nobody will buy it.

3.   Think and learn the lesson He is teaching you:

There are people who should be disconnected from you, where God is taking you too not everybody is compatible with it, ask God to show you what He is teaching you, your question should be what is my lesson?

4.   Keep your eyes on the picture/harvest

5.   Wake up every morning and be a prophet to yourself

6.   Stay on your spiritual assignment, don’t stop working

7.   Never lose your joy for in joy you shall draw from the wealth of salvation (Isaiah 12:3) Rejoice!

CONCLUSION

Whether it is day AND night, AND is there, in summer AND winter, AND is there… you can’t miss the season, you can’t short circuit it. The lord will give you strength to go through it and after wards men will watch you coming back with your harvest.

Encourage yourself in the lord, because the season you are in is preparing you for a better season.

PRAYER POINT

Ask God to give you strength and direction to wait until the season is over, for they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31)

Ask God to renew your strength.

CONFESSION

Lord Jesus, I come to you just as I am, have mercy upon me, with my mouth, I confess that I’m a sinner, I come for you for cleaning, with my heart, I believe that you died and rose from the grave, I receive you into my heart, all that I am, all that I have, I give over today, thank you for saving me, with my mouth I declare I am a born again, I am free in Jesus name Amen!
