John 1:12 (KJV)

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name:

INTRODUCTION

Dunamis means dynamite and when you think of dynamite you think of an explosion. God wants us to explode this season because when we explode as a child of God, the enemy begins to panic. God has deposited His power in us.

Genesis 1:26-27, God created us in His image, when we talk about God’s image, we know that it is not anything physical (it is not about our physical looks because we all look different) but rather there is something in it (God’s image) that we need to portray.

God is love, you can’t talk about power or anything about God without love. Love is the principal thing.

John 1:12-13, there is the will of the flesh and there is the will of God. Sometimes our flesh wants us to react, it wants us to do things in a certain way but we should always look at what God’s word says and then the power truly will flow. It is when we look through the word, what the word has to say concerning a thing that the power flows.

When you pray and it seems nothing is happening, don’t get discouraged rather pray more because it will eventually happen. When you focus on God, not getting distracted by anything you will see His raw power.

Judges 4:1-4, 1 Kings 9:2, 1 Kings 21:5 & 25

We have that power it is innate, another definition of Dunamis states that it is an innate power. Other fetish powers expire but God’s power never expires.

Conclusion

When you have an encounter with God directly, you can never be derailed, you can never have any doubt about His power.
