PSALM 103:1-2 (KJV)

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

INTRODUCTION

There’s a possibility that humans can forget to bless God for all He has done, most times we are forgetful and only remember to ask rather than be grateful.

Testimony is like a praise offering that we can offer unto God, there is a place or testifying of the goodness of God, Hebrews 13:15. We need to openly profess with our mouth, the fruit of our lips is supposed to testify of the goodness of God.

Importance of offering the sacrifice of praise

• Praise and Thanksgiving bring you before the Lord and build up intimacy with God, Psalm 104. There is a place of intimacy when we testify.

Why should we testify?

1. Our testimony is more like evangelism that is capable of winning souls to Christ. John 4:5-30.
2. When you testify of God’s goodness, it can build the faith of others. Matthew 9:20-22. Your testimony has a ripple effect, it means that when God does for one, He can do it for everybody.
3. Your testimony perfects what the Lord has done in your life. If you desire a one-off blessing, then you can keep your testimony to yourself but if you want to enter the gate and court of our Lord where the blessings are in abundance, then you must cultivate the lifestyle of continuously giving that sacrifice of Thanksgiving through your TESTIMONIES.
