Revelation 4:1

And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

This message is meant to ignite a passion in your life; to see to it that you are not comfortable until you get the fullness of what God has planned for your life: until you receive everything that Jesus dies for, the good, the acceptable and the perfect will of God for your life.

Come up hither – it simply means the place of encounter with God; it a place of being lifted to a new height; a place of exchange for more that God is pouring and giving out. God has never stopped giving, so you should not stop receiving.

A coming up experience could be in your health, you spiritual life, in your destiny family, finances, career, etc.

God is so versatile and unlimited that there is nothing in your Life that God cannot push you up to a new level. And there is so much at stake when we refuse to come into the “coming up experience”, or when we refuse to come into a new experience of glory with God.

Today, I want you to understand something… Why Do You Need a coming up experience in Your Life?

Exodus 19:20 shows us Moses’ experience with God on the mount. Out of that coming up experience something happened: When Moses went up to the mountain and came down, he didn’t just come down alone, he came down with a revelation of God. He came back with a structure for a people that has been in slavery for 430 years. He came back with power to deliver a certain kind of people out of a slavery mentality.

When God calls us into a Coming Up Experience, it is so that He can give a structure to our lives. I believe that there are some people that lack clarity for life, they lack purpose for life, and God is saying what you need is an Encounter; a Coming Up Experience with Him. The Bible says in revelation 4, about John the Apostle: Jesus said to him “Come up hither and I will show things…” that from the plane you are currently, there are things you cannot see or experience.

There are situations in your life that will never change until your come up Hither with God.

The Bible says “They grow from strength to strength, everyone that appear before God in Zion”. We need strength because there is an evil day for every man, and you need strength for such days. The only place to get strength is when you come into a coming up experience with God. I pray for you today you are receiving strength in the name of Jesus Christ.

A coming up experience is a change in level from one level of glory to another. Do you know that you can have an ever increase of glory in your health life? In Luke 8:43-48 the woman with the issue of blood got healed. That’s a level. In Deut. 4:1-12, bible speaking about Moses, said at the age of 120 Moses had Divine health: his eyes were not impaired, his strength was not abated, he was still strong.

Another level is not just enjoying divine health, but you can be used as a healing vessel to other people. Acts 14:10 about a lame man that Paul healed.

Another level is been able to bring the dead back to life. The story of Dorcas in the Bible is a clear example of such possibilities. These are level you can experience when you have a Coming Up Experience with God.

What about our spiritual life? You can have a different level of glory all together. In Acts chapter 5, Peter’s shadows was healing, in Acts 9 he was raising the dead. His spiritual life was in an ever increase of Glory. Other Area where you can have a coming up experience is in your prayer life.

We need a Coming up Experience in our life, we need to move from Glory to Glory.

How Do I get this Encounter?

You need this experience because it is a command from God and every command needs to be obeyed. If you seek the coming up Experience with God there are principles you must follow.

i.              Seek God: Jeremiah 29:11-13 “when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me”. So when we go to church, we don’t go there so that we can have a fun day, we go there to have an encounter. The word of God is an album book of possibilities that can happen in your life and has been tested in other people’s life, so it is proof that it will happen. God says the only way to experience such possibilities is to seek him.

ii.             Pray: One other way to stir up this experience is through prayer. For there to be a coming up experience in your life, you should desire God in prayers. Remember now thy Creator in the days of your youth. It is now you have strength to seek him. God has covenants and one of the things I know is that God answers prayers.

iii.            Study God’s word: YOU word life has great tendency to give you the coming up experience with God. Psalm 29:3 “The voice of the Lord is heard upon many waters”. One way to have an encounter with God is through his word.

The reason we the Come Up Experience, is for such a time we are living in. 2 Timothy 3:8 “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith”. The reason why we need the experience is because of the world we are living in today. We need to be strengthened, we need to be loaded, we need to have more of God in our lives. And once the experience is received, God promised that our life will never remain the same.

– Oh Lord give me a new experience of Glory
– Oh Lord give me a new experience of Health and Glory
